Visions of Tomorrow
A new book came out this summer from Skyhorse Publishing: Visions of Tomorrow: Science Fiction Predictions That Came True, edited by myself and Judith K. Dial. To get a copy, just go to Amazon.
Reviews so far--Publishers Weekly and Booklist--have been good, so we're happy.

Science fiction writers often try to remind people that they are in the business of entertainment, not prediction or prophecy, but the writers have gotten it right a few times. For example, Edgar Alan Poe successfully predicted--in the 1840s!-- trans-Atlantic travel by lighter-than-air craft, H. G. Wells predicted the military tank, and Murray Leinster predicted the Internet and even Google. The stories are in the book.
